The Uchu Steak

The restaurant was busy, but my fiancé and I were able to get a table. The interior was really nice as well. I ordered the 8oz steak with sweet potato fries, and my fiancé ordered a dish that gave him 4oz of steak, 4oz of pork, and 4oz of alpaca. They brought out sweet olives first, which I didn’t have, but that my fiancé said were enjoyable. The food came out on a tray that included 4 sauces, a side salad, and the meat on a hot stone, so it cooks in front of you for maybe 5 min. The steak was perfect. I really could not fault it. It was reminiscent of an amazing steak I had in Argentina. It was seasoned perfectly and tasted delightful. Although I was really full, we saw the table next to us get a desert that looked amazing, so we decided to go for it. I must say it was probably within the top 3 best desserts I have ever had. There was a chocolate mousse, a chocolate truffle, chocolate sauce, and a chocolate ganache cupcake. Everything on that plate was spectacular, and the cupcake especially was out of this world. One of the best meals that I have ever had for sure. In the US this meal might run you about $200, however, we paid $49 plus tip. It was definitely a meal to remember.
